"October of 2024, my car was in a car crash and declared a total loss. Statefarm and the office of Velazquez were notified. Velasquez continued to bill me for the car that I didn't have. I was denied reimbursement for the 7 months that I was paying. Moving my business to another location. I suggest you do the same."
We responded:
"Dear Mr. Crespo, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced. After thoroughly investigating your case, I understand that you experienced a total loss in October 2024 that was paid by the party at-fault. However, I could not find any record of your total loss letter or settlement in our records nor your request to cancel the vehicle due to this loss. We do have records indicating that we had an interaction with you on October 21st and that we communicated with the claims department to assist you in filing your accident, but there are no further records of interaction after that. Regarding your reimbursement, please rest assured that we cannot deny any return of unearned premium. These reimbursements are issued directly by State Farm Auto Division or Billing Department following a policy cancellation transaction request. My office manager, Nora Martinez, has recently spoken with both you and your spouse, and has informed me that she is taking the necessary steps to request to backdate the cancellation to align with the date of the loss. This will ensure that you receive your credits of unearned premium. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused you. Providing respectful and professional customer service is our top priority. I am confident that Nora, along with our dedicated team and the auto division, have been proactive in addressing your concerns to ensure your complete satisfaction and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service. I hope you will reconsider your decision and allow us the opportunity to continue our business relationship, which began in July of last year. Respectfully, Johanna Velazquez Agent "
